Call the program to confirm the assessment process, availability, arrival time, and who will coordinate your transfer. Review CRC admissions for the current entry requirements and documents. Ask staff for an approved packing list.
Plan for an active, shared home
Shared living involves routines, chores, meetings, and respect for other residents. Read the resident rules before arrival. CRC is in a multilevel former school building; discuss frequent stair use and any mobility concerns with staff.
Bring questions along with your paperwork
Write down questions about costs, benefits, appointments, prescriptions, transportation, employment, and contact with family. Staff can explain current procedures. Avoid relying on an old directory listing for admission details.
Expect to learn the routine
